Technical Project Coordinator
Job details and application
Technical Project Coordinator
Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Project Coordinator who works directly under our CTO to run project delivery from the technical side. This is not a purely administrative role. You will move between two modes: managing scope, timelines, and people, and stepping in as a developer when a sprint needs it, whether that means writing code, reviewing and merging PRs, or unblocking a teammate. You will be the link between the CTO, the developers, and the client-facing team, so that prototypes and production builds ship on time, at quality, and with clear communication.
Job Description
- Own day-to-day execution of multiple concurrent projects, from prototype through production release.
- Break requirements into epics, user stories, and tasks with clear acceptance criteria.
- Plan sprints, estimate effort with developers, assign work, conduct stand-ups, and track progress against deadlines.
- Keep our 48-hour prototype turnaround on track by coordinating the team under tight timelines.
- Identify risks, blockers, and scope creep early and escalate to the CTO with proposed solutions.
- Write production-quality code in Next.js, MERN, Flutter, Firebase, Supabase/PostgreSQL, and related stacks whenever needed.
- Review pull requests for correctness, readability, security, and performance, and merge approved code.
- Maintain branching strategy, code standards, and Git hygiene across repositories.
Qualification
- 3 to 4 years of experience in software development and/or technical project management, with at least 2 years in a role that combined both.
- Strong full-stack skills and database experience with CI/CD automations.
- Ability to read, write, and review code in depth, not just at a surface level.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and deployments: AWS/GCP/Azure, Vercel, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub (branching, pull request workflows, code review, merging, and resolving conflicts).
- Proficiency with Jira, Trello, or similar tools for planning and tracking with a solid grasp of Agile/Scrum (sprints, backlogs, estimation, and retrospectives).
- A track record of successfully delivered projects, which you should be able to walk us through.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and comfort communicating with international clients.
