The Story
A hospital network was coordinating hundreds of emergency physicians across six sites using manual rosters. Leave requests crawled through multi-step approvals, and when someone called in sick, there was no fast way to find backup coverage. We built an intelligent rota system that generates schedules automatically, routes leave and swap requests through the right approvals, and deploys backup doctors the moment a coverage gap opens.
